Character & Canon: Jin the Blademaster and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
District: Astralfield
Personality: Jin can be quite intelligent but this mostly applies to hunting and fighting. He can pick up on weaknesses and patterns in his enemy quickly and even come up with a decent strategy to quickly and effectively take them down if he has enough information on them. This said though, outside of battle Jin rarely thinks his actions all the way through and can be quite the imbecile. As such, Jin is a bit of a magnet for trouble.
Jin has been raised as a hunter and thus believes strength is vastly important. After all, when your job is to basically hunt massive monsters, some of which are basically like gods in his world, if you aren't strong you will either be monster food or become acquainted with the 'Kitty Cart of Shame'. So Jin is more likely to respect those that can hold their own in a fight and slightly looks down on those who can't. This makes him rather competitive and quick to accept a challenge.
Jin is a bit of a bard in that he loves telling stories and singing the songs of his people. He will regularly go on about his hunts of the dangerous monsters of his world. While his story telling is accurate, Jin is not above exaggeration as he thinks that his tales may one day inspire future hunters so the stories must be memorable. Making it into one of Jin's tales means that he truly respects you but it is not easy to make him think you are worthy of him telling your story.
Jin loves women and I mean LOVES women! To Jin, the female body is like a beautiful masterpiece of art that must be admired. However, his approach of this makes him simply a massive pervert. He will also monologue about the virtues of being a pervert if he gets the chance.
